bakerskyline8 Valued Member United States 92 Posts	Posted 05/28/2015 8:40 pm I purchased this coin recently and it is my first 18th century US coin. It appears to me this coin would be graded FR-02. I am used to attributing bust halves but am not very well educated on the attribution of these early cents. I was wondering what variety it may be and just want to learn what to look for in a coin this worn. The coin does have a plain edge. Thanks for your time and opinions! GERMANICVS Pillar of the Community Germany 1856 Posts	Posted 05/29/2015 09:47 am There is enough detail left on the reverse to identify this coin as an S-76b, Rarity-1, with 'One Cent' high in the wreath. Fairly worn, yes, but on a smooth planchet. Report this Post to the Staff
