Looking through the Geoffrey Bell catalogue for tomorrow and I stumble on this 1920 ICCS MS62 piece:

Does not look MS62 for the obverse. Was this date normally a weak strike as seen in the pic?

Thanks

I'm looking at one of my raw AU-55's right now and it does not seem to have the same weak strike. I looked up a few low MS graded 1920's as well and they seem to be struck well enough. Several things could be happening here, could be just the scans, or this could be a weak strike or maybe ICCS overgraded (although I find this to be the least likely option). Perhaps getting an opinion from somebody more experienced than me would be wise.

I agree with the grade. No evidence of wear or circulation is present.
The luster on the reverse is unmarred. No distracting bag marks.
The pearls of the Crown are crisp, as with the hemisphere atop the Globe.
The lack of detail of the band can not be attributed to wear. The planchet
could be a trifle underweight. Perhaps the strike pressure was not sufficient.
