Got this at a local coin shop recently. What do you think?

Hard to tell surfaces and luster from the pictures, but I'd call it an xf-40. Nice coin!

Does seem to have a decent amount of luster despite the wear, EF-40

EF-40 sounds good to me. Do the small rim dings correspond to edge lettering? Either way the dings are not deep enough to be a problem IMO.

A few rim bumps here and there and some honest wear. A VERY nice example of a great coin design!! I would go VF-35, probably EF-40.

VF-35

The rim hits would be a deal breaker for me, but I don't think they are big enough to garner a details grade.
