Hmm... The problem is that the Buffalo nickels have grades that range from good to poor (ie. mostly undated)

Just over melt value, it appearshat price. Personally, I'd rather have one AU+ Liberty nickel for that expense.

Nickels are not bought or sold for melt value.

At 14.73 cents each this is a great dealers lot. A collector could cherry pick these and still make a very good profit selling or trading the unwanted coins.

I would have paid that for those nickels. I believe you could at least recoup your money after keeping a few.
