Alright guys,

Thanks for the support and help. I just thought wanted to see if cancelling is the best option and it looks like it is.

I'm very much against misleading photos on ebay.

Although the buyer is dead wrong in this case (as you explain in your description that it is only one item), the picture can mislead the naïve or ignorant ebay buyer.

May I suggest next auction have your main (or first picture) as a SINGLE half dollar and then have the second picture that of your roll of halves.

Your best bet would be to just cancel the order. They cant leave you feedback if you cancel the order. Then if they don't reply within a certain amount of days I believe it is awarded in your favor and the order will be cancelled.

Did he really think you'd sell Rolls at $3.44 US shipped?

I had a guy send me quite a nasty note on ebay after purchasing a bulk world lot by pound, demanding refund without returning the coins, because there was no GOLD!!

Nothing surprises me on ebay!

jderm, I had an auction end last week for two 1969 x $20 bills. This buyer's final bid was a $100. This is the conversation that followed.
--
Buyer: Hi, I will be appreciated if you could give me 50% off on this auction, thanks.
Me: Why would I have to do that? It's an auction. Why did you bid?
Buyer: Because it's courtesy, I am a person with disability and it's just like doing charity for children's hospital, thanks.
Me:I donate to many local charities. Unfortunately this is a business and I have serious buyers bidding on my items. If you don't want the item or can't pay, I can go ahead and cancel the transaction.
Buyer:Hi, why do you contribute the charity to rest of the other people but not me, thanks.

I agree... and as SsuperDdave would say, "Ding, the toast is done"
