Celticsoul Pillar of the Community United States 1566 Posts	Posted 06/02/2015 11:49 am Great example of an 1807 C-1 R.1 Half Cent. C-1 is the only die variety for the year and is a very common variety. The heavy porosity is probably due to the coin being buried for a long time. The coin exhibits F-15 detail but I will net grade it down EAC 8 for the porosity. Net grading it to 8 basically means that as a copper collector I'd pay VG-8 money for the coin.
