Hi! I was just wondering if this was a clipped planchet error or happened post-mint.

Unfortunately, that looks like post mint damage, not a clip

The rim will taper toward the clipped area on an error coin. You coin looks like it got hurt bad. It's a shame to see that on a nice old coin.

it looks like damage. Tip: if you crop your photos before posting them, we get a much better look at the coin.
