Oh, yes - good start. Is already June, so interesting, what the RCM prepare for us. Core of June release - the Superman's 77-th Anniversary and the people had nice choice of their favorite hero. Other coins - nice to have, but much better - to leave them. So, July..... Of cause "The Beaver" - this one expected to enter many collectors houses. KG together with engravers who designed Caribou, Echidna and the Platypus - did amazing job. What else, MTS? What so inspired you to have it? Is it very expensive? "Batman" coin maybe?

Do you mean 5 cents 'Beaver'? Yes, it is coming. Another selective gold plated coin is the big 50 cents coin. See no "Batman" on the horizon. The coin I like is mmm... something interesting. I don't know what is it, but I like it. FV is $20, so it should have reasonable price. I'm pretty sure it will be 'A first' something. :)

Thanks for reminder.....50 cents coin. So expensive, why, RCM? Except being rarest coin, it is the second only (i think I am not mistaking) after 1967 $20 Gold, bearing our Coat of Arms. In hope, that the "July's nice item" will not be like current "first mokume gain" or "Firefly" or "Lightening coin with the flash light"

Gatewest has it. store.gatewestcoin.com/cgi/viewItem.cgi?item-number=11020&location=canada

I'll wait a few weeks to find out more information regarding the July release. Lately I haven't been so eager to read about the next release until I get the monthly catalog in the mail.

Slim pickings for July. The Coat of Arms Big Coin should look good.

mts, aren't all the songbird coins already available? I see 5 on the RCM website available without subscription to the set. (Cardinal, jay, warbler, oriole & swallow.) Or will there be more?

Quote:But just tried to search ebay, and saw this: very nice replica, not fake. Only 18 minted (as per description) http://www.ebay.ca/itm/1937-Canada-...em43d1f2ca90 This is a silver plated coin. Looks like it was struck through debris at the top by the date through to the Unicorns Flag - wire like debris or thread on the reverse, and under the G on the obverse. Additional two crowns with E and R. Wonder what the weight in silver is, for $170 Canadian should be pure. Worried for the buyer of this one, no matter what the mintage. Sorry Silveroid, I would avoid this is a problem coin.

Thank you SilverDon!
Was it mentioned there that it "silver plated"? I see the listing removed... Of cause it wasn't the coin, but I though, being pure silver, it could be nice round. But silver plated - no.

@Ravenzcoin. No, there is no more of them. RCM put these 2 last coins on the web site just a little bit ahead of time.
