My uncle found this coin in one of his grandpas old books. We were wondering what it is and what it might be worth. We have tried to look it up but we can not read it. It is roughly the size of a us dime.

Looks like a cast copy of a silver Roman coin.

to the community.

This appears to be a denarius of the Roman emperor Trajan, however this does indeed appear to be a cast copy. You can tell by looking at the edge of the coin a seeing a cast line where the molds met.
