Ouch! Is that a scratch in front of Lincoln? I think this is a DDO. Can we see pics of the whole coin? This is a great find. Were you roll hunting and you found this?

The coin is in worse condition than it appears, on the reverse someone carved the letter A into it.
I will upload more pics when I get home.

A close up of the date will confirm it. The 9 is pretty heavily notched.

The pic of Trust is good enough for me.
Been looking a long time and only found two in low grades.
Super find

This really looks to be DDO the letters are made wide and the years may have blurred them together but some notches remain. Would love to see a picture of the date to help confirm.

As much as I hate to say it because I have yet to find a double die except for these 2015 quarters. It really looks like it take the S in trust and look at it it looks doubled with a slight Southeast rotation. If this was MS condition it would probably be very very noticeable maybe even without magnification for some of us.

I'm pretty confident that is a DDO-001.
Nice find!

The letter "A" on the back doesn't help it out. To someone, it was just a penny.

It does look like the one on coppercoins. I was wrong. I was looking at the WE and saw the reduction in size, so that is what I was basing my opinion on. I agree seeing the date would help a lot more:
