I'm not an expert on Barber coinage so I'm hoping someone here can chime in. I have an opportunity to pick this coin up for $25 and was wondering what everyone thought of it. All input is welcomed. I have not purchased it yet, I wanted to hear what the forum thought. Thank you!

I really like this coin. Wow it is nice, but there is a scratch on the reverse to the left of the eagle larger than Texas. I think that is a great price for this coin.

Decent deal at $25 if you can get past the huge gouge bisecting the reverse. That would be a dealbreaker for me but it looks like a nice original coin otherwise.
Rest in Peace

Right - pass on it. It's easy to buy a good-looking damaged coin but very tough to sell it, as this seller is probably aware.
