I'm gonna finish up posting my Barber halves and continue posting the bust halves.

I want to see the capped bust thread with the highest page count!

Stay tuned...there may be a surprise coming to the capped bust thread in the next few days.

If we do Half Cents, I suppose the proof-only years (1840-1848) would all be combined into 1 day?

I guess so. Not many people would have them i'd think.

I suppose you could combine 1836-1849 in one day. You'd probably see only the 1849. I don't have any from the 1840s, and only 12 Half Cents overall.

I haven't seen all the "Days of" threads, but I thought it would be nice to see a Type set thread. Starting with the Half Cents (one type/day) up to Double Eagles.

Great suggestion, but the Washington quarter is considered a Modern US coin design and wouldn't work in the US Classic Coin section of the CCF.

I think Mercury dimes is due for a re-boot.

I think they and Peace dollars are the oldest ones that have not had an Act II.

The 33 days of silver Washington quarters. Everyone keeps forgetting that you have to count the first year of a series because it too is included in the total number of years. It is 64 - 32 + 1 = 33 days. If you do not believe me count the years beginning with 1932 as 1. When you get to 1964 you will have 33 days.
