Would anyone happen to know anyone where you could possibly send them a coin to get an opinion on whether to get a coin graded? It is a 2010 D Yellowstone quarter and it is the best looking quarter I have ever seen. Unfortunately any picture I can take doesn't do it justice and as far as I can tell it would be high 60s. The only thing would be it would be a lot of money to grade it and it come back lower and so just thought I would ask since I have never had anything graded before but am seriously considering this. Thanks all!

Your best bet is to take this coin to a reputable and local coin dealer.

Any experienced coin dealer should be capable of providing you with this type of an opinion.

For your own benefit it really is important to realize that even inexpensive photographic setups like USB cameras ($ 35 min.) are capable of producing photos with the sufficient details necessary for the CCF crowd to render an opinion on grade:

If, on the other hand, you already own a smart phone, you may be able spend even less $ compared to a USB and better capture the luster(from MS and proof types) by following the tips in this thread:

a high 60s coin wouldn't entail to much value so I wouldn't grade keep raw

MS-70 would yield a good profit.
MS-69 would probably break you even.
MS-68 (and lower) would be a losing proposition.

Look at ebay and see what they are selling for (I mean ACTUAL sales, not asking prices).

Thanks for the comments. My thought was that since only one 2010 D Yellowstone graded ms67 and from what I see this coin would be at least the same condition, that it may be worth sending it in. I am also talking about pcgs, because it appears with the ATB Quarters they are more strict on the grading than NGC. But it appears that some quarters are a couple of bucks at ms68. Would a coin with only one graded ms67 mean it may just be a condition rarity? Or if mine happened to get ms67 would it be worth a ton less because then there would be two coins at that grade? I guess I am confused about whether getting a high grade would be worth if it is scarce for a common coin
