I believe this coin to be Constantine II, RIC VII Cyzicus 97. But I am unsure if I am reading the legends correctly. Can you please confirm my attribution? Thank-you. Constantine II. 330-335 AD. Cyzicus. CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C, laureate, cuirassed bust right GLOR-IA EXERC-ITVS, Two soldiers facing, heads turned towards each other; each holding a spear and resting hand on shield, two standards between them, o on banners. Mintmark: dot SMK delta RIC VII Cyzicus 97, rated R2

Wish there was a cleared picture of the bust. From what I can see it looks like RIC VII Cyzicus 96 R5, Laureate, draped and cuirassed.

I am SO SORRY, Ron. The 1st 'bust' photo was in the camera when I started this and I put it up by mistake. Here is a clearer picture of the bust.

I apologise. I must be tired. After finding that I had posted the wrong photos from my camera, I changed the 'obverse' photo but not the 'reverse' photo. Here it is. My apologies, again.

From your recent pictures the last letter in the mint mark looks more like Gamma than Delta. If it is Gamma than it's RIC VII Cyzicus 80 R5. If Delta that it's what I said earlier.

Thanks Ron, H.H. (It definately IS Gamma. Sorry.) I apologise for my 'Senior' moments, of yesterday. It is a new day (for me) now and I am 'rested'. I appreciate the help and I will go with what you said, unfortunately I do not have a 'RIC', and Wildwinds (and Acsearch) do not have examples of RIC VII 79 or 80 for me to see. Thanks, again.

the xls files aren't available for download anymore? is it because people were using it as their own work? I noticed the statement at the top of the page and didn't remember that being there before.

I get those lines as well, but if you go to the bottom of the page you will see the CD.
Chrsmat, the XLS spreadsheets are still available.

I went to the bottom of the page but I still get that message when I go to order the CD through the checkout. It's O.K., though as I have found a copy on my computer.
