Great Half Cents so far folks! I sold off my earlier dates so this is where I can start showing a few. Here's my 1804 plain 4 with stems.

Moe I don't mean to sound disrespectful but you might want to look at your 1804 plain 4 with stems again, going by the reverse picture the stem on the right points to the wrong part of the A and the ribbon is too close to the A for the C-11. It looks like the same reverse as your cross let 4 to me. Germanicvs I was wondering if you might've posted the wrong picture because your plain 4 with stems doesn't have any stems great coin nevertheless it's a tough coin to come by, that's why I bought the one I have with the abundant rim bruises and have hung onto it for the last 30 years

Here is my 1804 C-6 Spiked Chin. I think it is die state 8-ish - anybody that can help me on the die state? ...sorry about the flash glare on the reverse.

Quote: Moe I don't mean to sound disrespectful but you might want to look at your 1804 plain 4 with stems again No disrespect felt here! I bought that as a Plain 4 with Stems id'd by the Seller. I have always had my doubts about it, though. I need to replace it anyway since it's VERY corroded, but, as you know, that type is pretty steep, pricewise. You may have just given me the incentive!

SCDave, than you for pointing out the mistake - my 'plain 4' half is obviously a no-stems variety. And you are correct, the 'with stems' variety is scarcer.
