We have recently purchased a 1942 Washington quarter Triple Die Obverse Die Two Graded AU 58 by ANACS. We purchased for 30.00. Can anyone tell me if we made a good purchase and what you think the value maybe?
Thank-You,
Mark and Lee

Update 1/5/08: Here are the pics of above coin. Please advise if anyone has any knowledge of the coin. We cannot find any info. The scans are not that great, I tried.

Welcome Isheperds5. If you could post pics of this find we could be more helpful. Condition and type of error is essential in value.

I believe all that information is in the post. 1942 quarter tripled die obverse, die #2, graded AU58. I don't believe $30 was a bad deal. It probably wouldn't sell for much more than that though.
