welcome and thanks for supporting the CCF. In regards to your question, can we see the entire coin. If it is a clip it will most likely have a similiar clip on the other side where there was not enough medal to create the full ring that we are all used to. If not it most likely is PMD. Could be wrong but that is just my opinion.

but only have the rev.
with a very minor ding(?)
at 9 o`clock
nothing stands out on the obv
for my untrained eyes
