I don't have a British varieties book, but none of them are particularly scarce, or particularly exceptional condition. 50¢ to $1 scratchtray items, if buying them from a dealer.

The 1930 is notorious down here in Australia as a "great disappointment" coin. Most people here have heard about Australia's 1930 penny, and how rare and valuable they are. So when someone finds one of these in among the family heirlooms, they get all excited... until someone in the know tells them that they've actually got a British penny, which is quite common for the 1930 date. In the British series, it's the 1933 penny that's super-rare.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

Yup I laughed so hard at my friend once, he called me up and said that he hit the jack pot, and wanted to show me what he had found, he wouldn't tell me on the phone and said will drop by, So I waited and waited until he arrived, running jumping out of his car, he looked like he was holding a Goose that laid the golden EEG , Then he said look what I have, I looked at it and said so what, whats the big deal, He said "I found the 1930 Rare penny", "I'm Rich I'm Rich", I just couldn't hold my Laughter any more and burst out with tears. After I explained that he was holding a very normal British penny ans that I had one to and was not the Rare Australian 1930 penny, He wouldn't talk to me for a week.
