It's a British coin; I can read "GEORGIUS" to the left of the portrait. Given the direction the portrait is facing, it can only be George II; the "II" barely visible to the right confirms this.. I'd assume a farthing or a halfpenny, depending on the diameter: at 27-8 mm, I'd reckon it a halfpenny.
