No, not Japan, it's from the Republic of China (Taiwan), 1 chiao (10 cents) dated Year 59 of the Republic (AD 1970).

Identifying by their location in the top picture:

Top left: Thailand 1 baht dated 2530 Buddhist calendar (AD 1987).

Top middle: Republic of China (Taiwan) 1 dollar, Year 63 of the Republic (AD 1974).

Top right: Mongolia 5 mongo, Year 15 of Independence (AD 1937). A nice uncommon coin, pity about the hole.

Bottom middle: Japan 5 yen, Year 51 of the Showa Emperor (AD 1976).

Bottom right: Thailand 1 baht, dated 2520 (AD 1977).
