1991-P Quarter Dollar Which Is Not Stamped Correctly And Is Off Center

ilic86 New Member Australia 16 Posts	Posted 06/18/2015 9:18 pm Hi. I have a 1991-p quarter dollar which is not stamped correctly and is off center the left side of the rim is wider then on the right. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 06/20/2015 10:25 pm The reverse is normal correct? If so you have a MAD (Mis-Aligned-Die) coin. The hammer die is adjustable and the anvil die is stationary. When the alignment is not correct, it makes one side of the coin slightly off center, the other side is normal. Yours is still just a MAD coin, not in the collectable range when the devices fall over the edge of the coin.
