Hello,

I found this penny tonight in my a jar. I randomly selected about 15 older looking pennies and found this odd one. There appears to be a distinctive looking 'DOT' between inand god on the obverse. Please take a look at the photos.

What do you think it is?

Any value to it?

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you!

Gas bubble formed between copper and zinc layers of coin. No extra value.

Really? It's only a gas bubble? The dot looks very strong, it looks almost like part of the die.

Ok, thanks for every one's insight. Too bad the dot is gas bubble. I think it still looks cool because of the location on the coin.

Thanks all.
