The marks in the field above IN GOD WE TRUST are bag or contact marks. The rest is damage from being abused.

Just curious if 1977 is your birthyear, as my daughters were born in 1976 & 1978...
If you need more red nail polish, I will ask one of my three granddaughters if you can have one of their bottles...

The rim area was affected by the coin being dropped on the area you posted. Note how the edge is flat in that area. Damage on a coin is never a good thing. On a BU coin, even fingerprints will drop the value of a coin. Contact can turn a nice coin into a cull quickly. (culls usually become highly discounted coins soon)
