Recent acquisition, scratched slab inhibited me from really photographing the surfaces accurately (which are glossy and bright). Would love an opinion on grade and variety (I do know the variety but thought to let some folks practice). 1853 has numerous varieties and is probably the toughest year to attribute, but this one is really easy (hint!).

MS-60 BN (using PCGS photograde) seems like your coin. Not sure on variety.

Jerry good job on the variety. This is one of my favorite date punch blunders. You also got the grade NGC gave it, MS62 (as did silverstacker). My EAC grade is 55. Also of note this is die state a.

That is a very nice looking coin with hardly a touch of wear. I am calling it MS60 to MS62.
