I see the C, but it cannot be. As the 1874 dimes have the CC mint mark below the bow. So either it is an S or Philly

Well, it's not like the San Francisco mint mark is in a different location than the Carson City one....I don't see an MM of any sort below the wreath.

It just looks the P-mint version to me.

From 1860-91 the mint mark is located below the bow except for 1875 which has above and below the bow varieties for Carson City and San Francisco.

This information is in the Red Book. If you do not have a copy get one. I do not understand why so many younger collectors do not own one. It should be your first numismatic purchase after you buy your first coin it will tell you a lot about the coin you just acquired and much more.

My Red Book is over 30 years old and I still refer to it from time to time.
