I am not a coin collector but I did find a coin recently doing some work around my house which was built in 1957. I came across a silver penny dated 1951. It is a Wheat penny. It also has an outer edge that is raised above the inside part of the penny. There is also no mint letter on the face of the penny. Perhaps is a counterfeit or perhaps it is something cool I don't know you guys tell me.

Looks silver plated then pressed into some sort of metal ring. I don't think it's anything
of value.

Try it out with a magnet and see if it sticks. If it does, then you've probably got something valuable.

The rim looks funny on obverse like a Dryer Coin. Also weigh it and let us know the weight

I have no idea what the terms "elder address" or "meant letter" mean, and for the life of me I cannot make the obverse image appear.

I'm assuming "meant letter" is supposed to be mint mark. Dunno about elder address.

Encased, probably part of a pendant or something, also plated. This is not a collector coin, just a novelty.

A 1951 Lincoln Cent with no mint mark is Philadelphia. Back then Philly did not use a mint mark, so that's ok.

Coins like this were popular in the 1950's used for jewelery.

Might be a very rare all Platinum Cent.
Or a pure Silver one made for people to find in change.
But most likely just a plated coin made in a chem lab for fun. Keep on looking. Might start a new hobby.
