His coins are all fake. The dates are dead givaways, as well as the mushy designs and rough surfaces.

I don't even like these as pocket pieces because they will not wear and tone the same way that silver would I would think. Considering the devices are already worn unevenly.. I would steer way clear of these

Ok what on this Morgan is fake? What places on the coin normally wears down first? What is striking about the date that says "fake"

Did you read the listing?
It says 40mm (38.1 is correct)
It says 25g (26.75 is correct)
It SAYS origin CHINA

One look at the sellers' location would tell you they are fakes instantly.

In all fairness he never once states it is an authentic Morgan dollar, in fact he doesn't say Morgan or US dollar anywhere in his post. I don't like the fact he is selling a fake, but he is not advertising is as such. He has it in the Chinese Collectable section and calls it a commemorative. I believe a half way reasonable coin collector would not touch this thing. |
