Just won this on ebay, and noticed something when I zoomed in and cropped the photos to create this post.Is it just me, or does the top loop on the "8" look like it could be 8/7? Probably just wishful thinking.   Edited by Pytellc 06/28/2015 8:21 pm

I'd think G-6, maybe G-4.

I tried blowing up your photo just of the date area. I'm not seeing a 18/7. Looks like an 1918-D G-4

That flat top to the 8 is a characteristic of this oveerdate that makes it easily visible to the naked eye.

25 bucks? Ouch. I guess if you were gambling that it could be a 17/18 I get it, but that's a bit steep for that coin.

Carnold, in G-4 the coin is listed at $22 and in VG-8 it's listed at $40. This coin looks a solic G-6 to me, wich would justify the price.
