I see that a 1991 $20 Knight - Thiessen signatures with serial number starting with AWI is in the Charlton catalogue for $300 in UNC condition. Why so much more than a regular note? Is it due to quantity printed?

Coins and Canada shows the 'AWI' prefix with range 1000000-1100000 as an 'Insert Replacement' note.
