A buddy of mine was telling me that there is a $25 silver coin from the 2010 Vancouver Olympics without a hologram. Is he correct? He said they are very hard to find but that they do exist.

Can't say I've ever heard of one before. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist though...

edweather-
I have never heard of such a $25.00 coin.
Does your friend have pictures or is this something he has just heard about.
If it does exist, it would have to be a rare error or
one that someone has tampered with.
Interesting to see if there is more info on it.
