I added one with the black background to your avatar choices in your profile so you can see which one you like better. I think it (black background) makes the colors pop more, but it's entirely up to you. Great avatar

I really like it. Yellow and orange together are two of my favorite colors. That coin is stunning!

Thanks xshift. I was thinking the same thing, that it might pop the color. I'll try it out

Love the coin!
What is the meaning of the other symbols on the back of the coin? I get the atomic bomb blast, but what is the snake meant to depict? Is it a Garden of Eden reference - the bomb represents Hope (to end the war) but also the possibility evil is lurking?

I belive that the torch is a symbol of liberty and America while the snake wrapping around it envocs healing and mending like the snake and staff symbol of physicians so in a nutshell it means that the bomb was dropped to preserve life and liberty... The barb wire is probably trench wire meaning we broke through their defenses
This is all an educated guess on the fly however as I've never really thought about the symbolism in depth before . Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Cascade, I was sifting through some of the older unresolved posts in the Unidentified Coins, Tokens & Medals area and found someone asking about your medal. https://goccf.com/t/98456It's interesting how the image of a particularly impressive coin or medal burns itself into the memory of a collector.
