Poll Question
Now that we're getting ours I wanna know what everyone is going to do with theirs. I'm not an ANA or ngc member so no label for me if I go that route and I dont think pcgs will do FS labels?... I'm probably just gonna leave them be for now or maybe pcgs 1 or 2 Anyway share what your doing with the ones you don't quick flip...

NGC website says they will assign FS labels if submitted within 30 days. http://www.ngccoin.com/news/viewart...rticle=4723&NGC also states you can send the set as a whole in for grading or you can send the RP/Medal individually. Found nothing on PCGS related to this.

You forget an obvious choice especially if only the RP dollar is removed for grading or collecting or whatever:
Replacing the RP Truman dollar with a regular proof Truman and selling it for a scarce OGP with the remaining contents. It's still a COMPLETE C&C set but NOT an original C&C set.

Hey CSOTUS, I owe you one... If you wouldn't have seen that and posted it this morning I would have gotten my extra 2. Thanks again! Good thing I was up at 4:45 am

I was let's just say busy after coffee sitting down when I read it. It was a slippery situation but I got er done! I knew it had to be only the few that were over orders so I pounced This whole experience has been great! I hope everyone else is having as much fun as I am with this whole controversy. Heck the $300 I paid was worth it for the fun alone reading all the threads here and elsewhere

I'm debating whether I should sell all my extras or just enough to pay for my outlay. I have a feeling that these will be worth a lot more in 10 years.

I initially got 3 to sell to to pay for 1. Hey, why not. I don't collect this stuff. Then the culling happened and the next day I picked up my other 2. Now I will keep them ALL! I am debating weather I will send 2 to ngc for FS and 70 shots? If I do I'll probably wait 3 weeks and see how they're grading. I wonder though. Can they be poped out with no damage? I mean if I send them out and no 70 can I crack the slabs & put the ogp back together without notice? And does the plastic case snap open or have to smash open?...

This may be the first set I leave in the OGP. From the photos it is decent looking.

I just want mine in an album with my other proof Pres. Dollars. I may keep one more (at least for now) in the OGP and sell the rest to save for a cruise next year! ;D

Go to ebay type in Uncirculated Dollar set, look for the ones missing the ASE and tell me how beautiful the set looks.

Quote: This may be the first set I leave in the OGP. From the photos it is decent looking. Did you also get the FDR set? If you like this one, you will like the FDR. It is still available for sale at the mint. No reverse proof, but does have an extra medal (bronze), three more stamps, and a dime. http://catalog.usmint.gov/2014-coin...elt-FR9.html
