The 001 has the thinner part at the top of the upper serif. With the wear on the coin, we may never know what it was. Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 07/06/2015 1:44 pm I wonder if it is just a case of die polishing that removed part of the outline of the mint mark/field area. Note the other designs how it shows the tapering from field to devices in that area. I would still keep it in case someone else has listed it. But the die wear leaves me questioning on your coin if it is a RPM or not? It does affect the same location as the 001, just not from that die. The mint mark shape is different. (unless coin wear altered the upper serif) Report this Post to the Staff
