Yup. Earlier die state than the CC example. Good find.

I don't see this one as a tilted upper serif. Note the date digits? They same mark is on them at the same angle. But back to your coin Is that an upright (east) bar in the center? If so it maybe a different die number. Does your coin have these markers:

Quote:
Die crack on forehead - LDS
Die crack over V. D. B.

If so, then it might be a 1958-D RPM-008? (no image on coppercoins)

A small portion of the secondary mintmark can be seen atop the primary mintmark. In addition a vertical bar can be seen inside the primary mintmark.

I don't see the "extra" atop the mint mark. On the 33 images I think the position is correct. I think CC was pretty sloppy with the 33 image unfortunately I went to wexlers to try and see if they had image. I cn't find their listings for 1958 cents. WooOoOsssaaa.

Well it doesn't exactly match the location of the CONECA 1958-D RPM-008 NE. It is slightly lower and the RPM is stronger on the east side than I originally thought. (I enlarged the images and spotted that)

But on the OP's coin I see a perhaps SE. Note the bar in the center and on the lower right side of the mint mark, it appears to dip lower in that area. It maybe an unlisted one. I don't see that on the 1958D-1MM-033 example on coppercoins.
