Welcome Friends, I just found a 100 Bill that looks very different. It grabbed my attention immediatley as to its COLOR. It has a ...teal or light grayish color with white spots beaming through here and there.

Is this a legimate US mint error worth grading.?
Have you seen the like of it before?

The reverse carries a bit less of this color but the front is heavy on it. I thougth it was a fake but the (Strip) is in it a bit broken off but its there. And the FACE shows in the circle as well clearly.
Someone wrote 13 on it I guess that lowers the value a bit.

I see no signs of anyone tampering with the bill as all the other effects are there clean and perfect.

Appreciate your advise on the 100 note.

God Bless
Beck.

Could you perhaps point out a few specific areas where you see this irregular color? From the photos provided I simply cannot see anything strange.

Dipped or washed? Strange things can happen to bills when they are forgotten in your pants and then washed with bleach detergent alongside bright, new clothes.

Could also be a very high quality counterfeit, given that the security strip is iffy.

That bill just looks iffy to me, but it could just be the pictures. Can you feel the raised ink from the intaglio printing? I.e, in the portrait collar or borders. I see some wear in the middle of the bill but no ink appears to be missing, as is usually the case. That security strip looks questionable. It should show up a lot clearer if that last image is as backlit as it seems.
