Yeah, the 1844 is not that common these days despite the price guides. I've been filling lower grade common dates for about 6 months now, and this is the first one of these I've purchased.

Coin was as nice in hand as I could have hoped for. Found it was an N-3 state a. with the outline on the lower left of the 1 and 8.
