Why are they selling this coin again ? Is it that stocks need to be gotten rid of, or is this just a new year with a popular coin that is making money for the Jamestown Funding Project ?
The mintage number will be sooooo high that it'll never be worth more than the spot price of gold then ?
Man.......unless I'm confused about something .....I'm a little depressed !
That is a beautiful $5.00 proof coin, but apparantly RARE it never will be !

I saw the same thing the other day. I wouldn't get too depressed over it, I'm sure it was a simple mistake.

Legislation will not allow the US Mint to continue selling the Jamestown Commemoratives in 2008.

NOPE, no more!!

According to the USMint: http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wc...ory_rn=10141

"The Jamestown 400th Anniversary Coins must be issued by December 31st. In order to meet these requirements, the United States Mint is only accepting orders for this coin until December 14th at 5:00 p.m. ET. Please note that all credit card and billing issues must be resolved prior to December 14th."
