Glack! That is one seriously ugly and ill treated 1917.

I gave the poor guy the benefit of the doubt and offered $3.19, well above all the rest of you "non-collectors" who don't see the true bargain this represents.

Isn't he just hurting himself with his decision to keep it raw? I know I wouldn't even consider a raw one if I was buying a coin that is worth that much money.

I am not familiar with PCGS but do they slab coins with no numerical grading on it? Strange that he keeps on going on about the case being authentic.
