Hi all,
I have just picked up some more LRB's and picked a random handful out for quick looks.
This coin although easy to id has an unusual mintmark that I am struggling to find.
Obverse - Fancy helmeted bust right
Reverse - two victories holding shield on alter
Mintmark - P - 2 seated captives back to back - L
Arles mint, closest is RIC 188

Hopefully someone is familiar with this mintmark, its the 1st time I have seen it though.

oh cool, what a neat mint mark. I don't remember seeing that one. if I have, I probably didn't recognize it as a mint mark.
