I will be moving to SC and would like to open up an account at a new bank where I would hope they carry dollar coins regularly. Anybody from there have any suggestions?

To what part are you locating, upstate, midlands, or low country? I live in the upstate.

I belong to a credit union, but it has been a while since I have tried to get any rolls, let alone dollar coins. I am sure they scaled back once they went NIFC.

For what it is worth, we have BoA, TD, and Wells Fargo here. There are many regional banks as well, not to mention a handful of credit unions.

I am moving this to the CRH forum to get more responses.

I'll be in the Charleston area. I've heard generally good things about SC Federal but I've also heard they don't carry dollar coins.

Until the dollar note is withdrawn, they will never circulate enough to warrant keeping quantities on hand.

You will love Charleston. It is my favourite coastal destination.
