They must have made it not identical because of some unwritten code. Anyone know about when this was made? BTW the mint mark I think is an S or a 3! I will get back after I talk to the owner and look at it again.

Look at the obverse relief too, it's off. It has that light relief to it.

CoinHuntingDrew, so you are saying that the obverse's rim, letters, and the eagle's feathers, etc. are slightly more shallow than what would be real?

thedollarman, I offered him $5 each. He replied, 'haha, No.' Is the outside of this gold plate? What would a counterfeit coin like this actually be worth?
