1853 large cent, This looks to me as to much pressure was applied and left an indention above the three.

1905 Indian head, This is definately a raised line below the five. Repunched digit or die damage ?

Regarding the IHC, I'm more curious about what appears to be a knob on the inside of the mid-bottom loop of the 0--or this that just lighting? Then, the bottom of 5 loop seems to have a curve of extra metal too. Comparing it to another 5, it does seem closed off a bit. And, yes--that line below the 5 looks like something to me too, perhaps associated with the extra curve on the inside? If this is a variety, it's not listed in my Cherrypicker's Guide.

This is what I see...possibly a 5 between the 0 and 5 indicating a Repunched date to the east of where it should be. Look at the original pic to see it better after you look at my picture.

Forgive the artwork.

Also, a "Gang Punch" was used on Indian Head cents so If I am seeing the remnants of a 5, there would be remnants of the 190 on there too.

Just a thought.
