Check the die polish lines around the date on the next 2 pictures. looks exactly the same to me. Also, what's up with inside loop of the 9? Repunched over a squared 9 or just die wear?

Yep!

Looks like "twins" to me!

LOL! Matching scratches like that are the same way ballistics labs
match up bullets fired from the same weapon.

That problem with the 9 looks to me like a small die chip.

If your searching OBW rolls it is common to find coins from the same die pair. The 1960-D small dates were known for die breaks on letters/numbers. I guess that is why the changed the design to the large dates.

The 'problem' with the 9 isn't a problem at all. It's part of the design, as wierd as it sounds. It's on nearly all 1960 small date cents, except for those where the feature has been polished off or has worn off. You might also notice similar raised areas in LIBERTY.

I thought it was the 1960D-1MM-092, but the MM is too far east, and is a different RPM type. Any more specific identification?
