In the meantime, you can try to guess at a grade on this 1949-D Washington quarter in PCGS plastic, using my less than good photos. Thanks for looking! Boy, don't I feel like an idiot now. :( I spent 3 hours reading threads so now I have a good idea of what I need to buy and what I should invest/spend, as well as some good sellers that I can trust. Here's the PCGS slab: MS-65. The toning sealed the deal for me. It's not a "super high grade" coin, but that toning... A seller picture: The toning on the reverse was actually better than I expected based on this shot. Thank you.
