Modern Coin Mart - For the first time ever, the popular Isle of Man Angel 1 oz. silver coin has been minted with an incuse (sunken) design. Silver & Gold coins with Angel designs have been minted since ancient times, some of which are similar to this series in depicting the angel (good) triumphing over the serpent/dragon (evil). This particular design was introduced in 1984 by the Pobjoy Mint and features a classic scene of Archangel Michael slaying the Dragon. Each coin is certified by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) as Proof 70, the highest grade achievable for any coin. The NGC holder also features an exclusive label featuring another rendition of Michael slaying the dragon.
