Hi

I'm new. I've spent months reading about errors & coins to look for. I know people will do crazy things to coins with chemicals, etc. I'm wondering if this could be a clad / layering issue or what would have caused this if not.

I've tried to get photos at every angle for good light - front & back.

Thank You :-)

I think it is dried glue on your coin.

I think it looks like something stuck to the coin too. (Glue, unknown gunk)

If you're curious you can soak it in pure acetone. The coin has no value above face value so you could even use nail polish remover. If the coin had collectable value never use nail polish remover.Either way use caution, look up acetone in the upper left of the page search box. know what happens.
