Is Numismatic Conservation Services (NCS) a division of Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) and thus are NCS gradings reliable?

NCS is a conservation service not a grading service. ie: they do not grade coins. If after conservation you want the coin graded, it will be graded by NGC.

If you see coins in NCS details holders, that was before they decided to have them all graded and holdered by NGC, and I think those grades should be just as reliable as NGC.
