I looked at that one earlier but it seems I can't match the markers...

I think it's right. It may be a different die state than I have seen and it has some wear.

Maybe a better image image would show more. Looks like a SE? But the center had a mark that doesn't look like it belongs?

Now if we had horizontal images that would help a lot more. (with the date turned, it cuts off the whole date area. When horizontal, then more of the date devices are view straight on. Very handing when making overlays)
Tried an overlay, but the date devices seem stretched vertically. If you are taking images of the coin tilted, that would explain why the devices are taller than normal, but the width is normal? I want to say this one is 1960d-1MM-055. But I can't confirm it with an overlay yet. Try another image that is not tilted, but straight on.

Like Coop said, maybe center the date a little better so it is completely visible.

That last image was better. It is 1960d-1MM-055. It is dead on with that image. The clue? The mark on the upper right inside the mint mark is a faded die scratch on the LDS example: http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=ldsNote how the scratches are stronger on this die state. But when they fade from more coins struck, the die scratches do not fade as fast around and inside of devices. That is what the mark is.

This has been a very helpful discussion for me - because all along I was seeing that die scratch as part of the rpm.

That was a a distration to me, until I noticed on my images on coppercoins, that line made sense on the earlier die state.
