I'm sure this question has come up before, but can anyone tell me what the Omaha Bank Hoard is? I have two coins - 1937-D penny, and 1954-D Franklin half dollar. Both these coins are slabbed and certified by PCGS as being part of that hoard. Plus, there's a lot of stuff on ebay - also certified by PCGS - with this designation.

These coins came from rolls that were originally purchased at the Omaha National Bank. They had been stored in a vault since the individual started buying rolls during the year of issue back in the late 1930's. Originally Heritage sold a few thousand of the pedigreed coins.
