The mark next to the N is not a die crack it's a zinc rot bubble.

It could be blistered plating.

You could try to push it down with a toothpick and see if it's hollow.

Thanks for the responses. I did attempt to push down on the spot with a toothpick and it did not budge. It is hard to tell from the pics, but under microsope the spot does seem a little more imperfect than the bubble type blistering.
